With our depth of history and over a century of innovation, coupled with the sheer volume we produce each year, one would think Rio would be a household name. The fact is that our approach to marketing and sales has been somewhat different than our competition. Where most have focused on brand awareness and the end user, Rio has focused on R&D and gaining inroads into what is known as the institutional markets - shooting clubs, national organizations, pro shops etc. While this approach may have left us with little name recognition amongst consumers, it has given us a position of absolute supremacy with pros, dealers, shooting clubs and recreational facilities.
